The Spanish Innovation Agency CDTI (Centre for Technological Development and Innovation) Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of Spain organizes a Country Session in Windergy in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in India and NIWE (National Institute of Wind Energy) Government of India.
Spanish companies at the forefront of R&D in wind energy will show their latest innovations and technologies and they will pitch ideas of R&D collaboration with Indian partners. Besides, representatives from leading research organizations in Spain (CENER and CIEMAT) as well as the Spanish Technological Platform for Wind Energy (Reoltec) will present their capabilities and latest works and results. Following the Country Session, a networking high tea will be served to foster the interaction between speakers and audience.
R&D projects that may arise from this interaction can be funded by both CDTI and the Ministry of New and Renewable Energies (MNRE) based on a MoU signed in 2011 to promote, support and co-fund this kind of collaborations. Moreover, CDTI also holds an MoU with the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to co-fund R&D projects led by Indian and Spanish companies in any sector.
Government dignitaries from both the Government of Spain and India will grace the occasion.
