Markus Kösters is heading the Business Development function for New Markets at RWE Renewables focusing on the geographic expansion of the firm’s renewables business into new markets. He started his career in investment banking and has since worked for more than 10 years in the energy industry with a focus on energy trading and renewable energy at global companies such as Uniper, E.ON and RWE. Markus holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics and has studied at the University of Maastricht and the National University of Singapore.
