Monika Rathi is the Country Head of India at Vena Energy, and oversees the operations, business development, and renewable assets management in the Indian market.

A technology-savvy professional with over 17-years of diverse experience and commercial acumen, Monika has held several key roles at General Electric and the Mahindra Group, ranging from developing next-generation technologies for the renewable sector, to process excellence, operations, and business development.

Monika holds three US patent applications and has authored more than 10 international publications. She is also a certified TRIZ level 1 expert, Certified Black Belt, and LRQA Auditor. She holds B.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (NITK), and a master’s degree in Power Electronics & Controls from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

She was conferred a ”Young Achiever Award” by her alma mater NITK in 2015, the ”Women Leader of the Year” award in 2019 by India Solar Week, and ”Asia’s Most Influential Women in Renewables” by SolarQuarter in 2020.
