Nivedh BS is a seasoned renewable energy expert with over 17 years of specialized experience in wind turbine testing, inspection, certification, and grid integration. As Senior Business Manager at UL Solutions, he leads the Wind Turbine Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) business across Asia Pacific, driving operational excellence and strategic growth in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

He plays a pivotal role in representing UL Solutions in international and national forums, including IEC and IS standard working committees, grid code working groups, and key industry associations. His leadership ensures UL’s active contribution to shaping global standards and regulatory frameworks for wind energy.

Prior to UL, Nivedh held senior roles at GE Power in Bangalore, where he managed global compliance for market access, and at the National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE) in Chennai, where he contributed to standards and certification development.

He holds a master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering and a bachelor’s in electrical engineering from Anna University, Chennai. His thought leadership is reflected in numerous technical publications on topics such as wind farm repowering, grid code compliance, advanced inspection techniques, and power curve warranty verification.
