Samar Barua is leading the Turbine Controls and Performance team in Senvion India since last 1.5 years. Since taking over the role he is working towards developing teams that enables Senvion to have a next gen Controls and SCADA system that is fully integrated along with the Loads simulation environment, that gives the best-in-class turbine performance and optimized operation with seamless data accessibility.

Mr. Barua brings 20 years of extensive experience, including 15 years in the wind sector. He has a proven track record of leading technical topics in the field of Loads and Controls. His career includes working across various wind turbine OEMs such as Vestas and GE.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Engineering from IIT Bombay and Engineering degree from Jabalpur Engineering College. His blend of academic credentials and extensive industry experience positions him as a key thought leader in the renewable energy sector, driving innovation and sustainable growth at Senvion India.
