Stewart joined GWEC in February 2021 after having spent the previous 15 years as a senior executive in the wind industry for two of the world’s leading turbine manufacturers (Siemens Wind Power and MHI Vestas). 

He worked on establishing both on and offshore wind in emerging and next generation markets; particularly expanding offshore wind’s impact in the green energy transition (Power2X); unlocking the potential of floating offshore wind; and advocating the transformational socioeconomic value offshore wind provides for communities across the globe. 

He worked closely with regulators in emerging offshore wind markets like Australia, Taiwan and the USA to unlock the supply chain potential of the regions. 

Stewart is focused on creating deep relationships between the work on the ground in India and the broader international wind ecosystem. 

Since joining GWEC, he oversees all strategic partnerships and programs.
