Sudhanshu Bansal is the Director (Institutional Equities) and Lead Analyst (Power & Utilities) at JM Financial, Mumbai. JM Financial was ranked No #1 Investment Bank in India for the highest number of capital market transactions including IPOs by raising more than INR 100 bn during 2023.

He covers power and utility companies listed on Indian stock exchanges. Currently, he is actively involved in IPOs and fund-raising efforts for various companies in renewable supply chain. Earlier, he has served BHEL, New Delhi in various roles including engineering, marketing and Strategic Advisor to three CEOs. He is also the member of global study group for ‘World Energy Scenarios’ under World Energy Council, London. Mr Bansal is B.Tech. from IIT-BHU Varanasi and MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur.
